Gloria Hardiman & The Monday Night All-Stars

Miss Gloria Hardiman, an Alligator Records legend and long-time Iowa City resident, will share the stage with Johnny Kilowatt’s Monday Night All-Stars.
Blues and gospel singer Gloria Hardiman was a preacher’s daughter born in Yazoo City, Mississippi. When she was six years old, her family moved to Chicago, where she developed her music within the church. Hardiman took her talent into the blues clubs and stages of Chicago, Atlanta, Kansas City, the Carolinas, Canada, and Europe. She played for years in Professor’s Blues Review with Professor Eddie Lusk, and toured the world, working with artists including Albert King, Ray Charles, Etta James, the Staples Singers, and many more.
Monday Night All-Stars is a true all-star lineup of local and regional players: Jon Klinkowitz – guitars.vox, Saul Lubaroff – reeds, Bill Peterson – keys/vox, Tim Crumley – drums, and Ed English – bass.
All activities will take place at Centennial Park, located at 1565 St Andrews Dr in North Liberty, IA.
